Spicy Shrimp Linguine

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 plum tomatoes
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c half-and-half
  • 1/3 c parsley
Cook pasta according to package directions.

Melt butter and add onion; saute for three minutes.

Add garlic and tomato; saute for two minutes.

Season shrimp and add to pan (three minutes).

Remove from heat; add half-and-half and pour over pasta.

Sprinkle with parsley.
